Operation Sindoor: PM Modi Monitored Precision Strikes on Terror Camps in Pakistan
New Delhi : In a decisive military response to the brutal Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians, the Indian Army executed ‘Operation Sindoor’, successfully striking nine high-value terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

The operation, carried out with surgical precision, specifically targeted terrorist infrastructure linked to the perpetrators of the April 22 attack, which claimed the lives of 25 Indians and one Nepali national.
Government sources confirmed that all nine targets were successfully hit, with no damage to civilian or Pakistani military infrastructure, underscoring India’s commitment to a measured and non-escalatory response.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi played an active role in overseeing the mission. He remained in constant communication with senior military commanders and national security officials throughout the night, personally monitoring every stage of the operation.
“This was a mission of strategic significance, and the Prime Minister’s involvement reflected the gravity of the situation and the government’s resolve to hold the perpetrators accountable,” said a senior official.
An Indian Army spokesperson confirmed the success of the operation, reiterating that the strikes were focused solely on terrorist camps used to plan attacks against India.
“Our actions were precise and deliberate. Only terror infrastructure was targeted. No Pakistani civilian, military, or economic assets were harmed,” the spokesperson said. “Justice is served.”
The operation marks a strong and restrained response to cross-border terrorism, reinforcing India’s stance that terror will be answered with precision and resolve.
