Yogi govt spurs Dudhwa Tiger Reserves revenue with better facilities, no fee hike
Lucknow : Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a tourism hotspot, with destinations like Dudhwa Tiger Reserve seeing a steady rise in visitors. Backed by improved law and order, infrastructure, and amenities, Dudhwa has become a top eco-tourism choice—achieving record revenue growth without any fee hike, thanks to upgraded facilities.
Between November and April of the 2024–25 tourism season alone, Dudhwa welcomed 44,070 Indian and 574 foreign tourists. Early in the season, it was announced that tourism fees would not increase this year. Instead, efforts were directed toward improving services, ranging from jungle safaris and lodging to cleanliness and overall visitor experience.
Deputy Director of Dudhwa Tiger Reserve, Dr. Ranga Raju T, stated that in line with the guidance of the Chief Minister and Forest Minister, tourist amenities are being developed with a focus on the ethos of Atithi Devo Bhava, ensuring a memorable and welcoming experience for every visitor.
