Yogi govt set to establish eco-friendly units on 55 industrial plots in YEIDA area
Lucknow : In a major step towards transforming Uttar Pradesh into a developed state and achieving the goal of a $1 trillion economy, the Yogi government has introduced a new scheme aimed at establishing environment-friendly industrial units. The scheme focuses on the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area, covering Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr districts, where 55 industrial plots will be allotted in Sectors 29, 32, and 33.
This initiative is set to accelerate the development of YEIDA, Phase-1, development, and will contribute significantly to the implementation of the Master Plan-2041. The eco-industrial scheme invites applications until May 29 for 55 green-certified plots in YEIDA’s Sectors 29, 32 and 33. Open to over 240 non-polluting industries—from toy, apparel, and furniture parks to ODOP units and MSMEs—it aims to foster sustainable growth in Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr.
YEIDA’s eco-industrial scheme offers 50 plots—from 300 sqm to 8,000 sqm—for specialised parks and general industry, plus larger sites above 8,000 sqm. The biggest parcel, Plot 68A in Sector 32, spans 17,020 sqm. Reserve prices start at Rs 64.16 lakh, with the top premium set at Rs 22.91 crore.
Plots will be allocated for various industrial categories, including apparel and toy parks, handicrafts, ODOP manufacturing units, furniture parks, MSMEs, and general industrial purposes. Eligible industries range from pulse mills to X-ray machines and telecommunication equipment manufacturers.
Allotments will be made through an e-auction process, with detailed information in the official YEIDA website brochure. Only those plots receiving more than three valid bid applications will be included in the final e-auction, which is expected to be conducted in early July. Plots with a single bid will not be allotted, and all associated charges including the EMD and processing fee will be refunded to such applicants.
