Jaipur : The ten-day National Cooperative Spice Fair-2025, held at Jawahar Kala Kendra, concluded on Sunday. The fair recorded sales of spices and other products worth over ₹4.10 crore. This is the highest sales figure so far, about ₹1 crore more than last year. Mrs. Manju Rajpal, Chief Secretary & Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Cooperation Department, presented certificates of appreciation and mementos to the best stalls during the closing ceremony.
The Chief Secretary stated that since 2003, the Cooperation Department and CONFEDE have been realizing the vision of this national-level spice fair. The fair provides cooperative societies a strong platform for business growth. A large number of people have been connected with this fair for years and purchase their spices for the entire year from here. She added that the organization of the fair is continuously improving, but there is still considerable scope for enhancement, and efforts must continue to make the fair even better. She congratulated the officers and staff for the successful organization and participation in the fair. She also said that more innovations will be introduced in the fair next year.
Mrs. Rajpal mentioned that, in line with the state government’s budget announcement, “Shri Anna” outlets will be opened through CONFEDE. Prior to this, about 25 stalls at the spice fair showcased “Shri Anna” products. She emphasized the need to increase people’s engagement with “Shri Anna,” encouraging them to adopt these products for better health and ensuring that producers receive fair prices for their products. She stated that efforts would be made to gain national recognition for the state’s spices and other products.
