RMSC Conducts Statewide Inspection of Medical Institutions and Drug Warehouses
State-Level Teams Assess Heatstroke Management, Drug Availability, and Equipment Maintenance
Jaipur – To strengthen drug supply management, the Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation Limited (RMSCL) is conducting inspections of drug warehouses and medical institutions across the state. Under the guidance of RMSCL Managing Director Mrs. Neha Giri, teams from the headquarters are visiting various districts to conduct in-depth assessments of drug availability, heatstroke management, oxygen supply, equipment maintenance, and implementation of departmental programs.
ADC Manoj Dheer and Roshanlal from RMSCL Jaipur (Headquarters) carried out thorough inspections of the Medical College Drug Warehouse Center in Jodhpur, the District Hospital in Paota, and the Community Health Center in Balesar. The team also inspected medical institutions in Pali district. Local officials briefed the inspection team on drug availability, distribution, walk-in cooler systems, and other arrangements at the district drug warehouse. In Pali, the team examined the sub-store of Bangad Hospital, its drug distribution center, and oxygen supply systems.
During the inspection, officials reviewed the effective implementation of the Chief Minister’s Free Drug Distribution Scheme, the operational status of oxygen plants, the availability of heatstroke management medicines, and other healthcare arrangements.
RMSCL Company Secretary Mamta Agrawal and Assistant Accounts Officer Kavita Bairwa conducted thorough inspections of the District Hospital in Sanganer, Jaipur; the Community Health Center in Kotkhavda; and the Jaipur-II District Drug Warehouse. The team emphasized maintaining efficient management for the prevention and treatment of heatwaves and instructed staff to remain on high alert and adopt a proactive approach. All pharmacists at the drug distribution centers were instructed to ensure uninterrupted drug distribution and maintain adequate drug availability.
The officials also gathered detailed information regarding institutional deliveries, family welfare programs, routine immunization, maternal and child health activities, and the progress of departmental schemes and programs. They directed teams to make sincere efforts to achieve 100% targets in routine immunization and institutional deliveries as per the prescribed action plan.
