Pondicherry University Vice Chancellor unveils the logo of Pondicherry University Alumni Association

The Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University, Prof. P. Prakash Babu unveiled the logo of Alumni Association. The Vice Chancellor in his address wished the association to grow as Viruksham, as suggested by the name of the Association. He also stated that the PUAV should connect all the Alumni of Pondicherry University under this umbrella association and also stressed the significant role of the Alumni Association that is entwined with the university.  The event held at the Office of Students’ Welfare Building, Pondicherry University. Dr. Vijayakumar, Secretary, Alumni Association, welcomed the august gathering.  Prof. Clement S Lourdès, President of PUAV honoured the Vice-Chancellor.

Prof. K. Tharanikkarasu, Director (SEI&RR); Prof. Clement S Lourdès, Director (C & CR); Prof. Rajneesh Bhutani, Registrar (i/c); Mr. Sadanand G. Swami, Controller of Examinations, Deans, Heads of the Departments, Faculty members, Office bearers of the Alumni and other alumni participated in the function.  Dr. Arularasi, Joint Secretary, Alumni Association, delivered the vote of thanks.

The event was organized by the PUAV office bearers, led by Prof. Clement S Lourdès, President; Mr. Amritanshu Shekhar, Vice-President; Dr. N Vijayakumar, Secretary; Dr. Arularasi, Joint Secretary; and Dr. Vadivel Arjunan, Treasurer. The executive members Dr. Nidheesh, Dr. A. Saravanan, Dr. Sukhvinder Singh, Dr. Gurjeet Kaur, Dr. Velmurugan K, Ms. S. Uthradevi, and Dr. R. Enoch, played a crucial role in making the event a grand success.
