Government of India Transfers 41 Joint Secretary-Level Officers Across Ministries : Full List and Key Appointments

New Delhi : In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the transfer and appointment of 41 Joint Secretary-level officers across various central ministries and departments. The move, aimed at enhancing efficiency and strengthening governance, includes a diverse set of appointments from different services and cadres, involving Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), Indian Economic Service (IES), and other Group A services.

The newly appointed officers have been placed in key ministries such as Agriculture, Defence, Finance, Health, Electronics & IT, Commerce, and Social Justice, among others. The tenure for most appointments is set for five years or until further orders, with some exceptions where fixed end dates have been specified.
