Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Visits Bikaner, Inspects Education Directorate, Emphasizes Enhancing Academic Quality

Jaipur : Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Vasudev Devnani, visited the Education Directorate in Bikaner on Monday. He met with the Director of Secondary and Primary Education and other senior officials to discuss academic and administrative arrangements.

During the visit, the Speaker instructed all directorate officers and staff to work with heightened sensitivity so that the legitimate needs and concerns of teachers and employees across the state are addressed promptly. He stressed the importance of improving the quality of education and called for continuous innovation toward that end.

The Speaker also proposed that the Education Department organize academic excursions for meritorious students to observe the Assembly’s proceedings. He recommended that the directorate should schedule such programs, and that schoolchildren be shown the Assembly’s sessions to familiarize them with the legislative process. He shared information about initiatives such as the Youth Parliament and other child-focused programs conducted in the Assembly.

Additionally, Mr. Devnani suggested establishing libraries in each district for young people, equipped with all necessary modern facilities, so that underprivileged students can prepare for competitive examinations.

Earlier, the Speaker inspected the Directorate’s “Solution Room” (Samadhan Kaksh). Secondary Education Director Mr. Ashish Modi explained the work process there—from registering employees’ grievances to resolving them. He noted that the Solution Room has improved both the resolution of staff complaints and the speed with which they are addressed.

The Speaker also visited the on-site daycare center (creche) within the directorate campus and praised its facilities. Representatives from various staff associations felicitated the Speaker during his visit.
