We Will Familiarize Society with the Remarkable Work and Living Legacy of Peoples Leaders: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh is steadily moving forward in the direction of “Heritage and Development Together.” Cabinet meetings and key programs are being organized in the karmabhoomi of inspiring leaders to reinforce their commitment to development. The government is bringing to life the exemplary contributions and glorious legacies of figures such as Queen Durgavati of Gondwana, Maharaja Vikramaditya of Malwa, Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar of Nimar, and now, the revered leader Raja Bhabhoot Singh.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a program held at Hotel Amaltas in Pachmarhi on Tuesday, where he inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for various tourism development projects of the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation worth over Rs. 33 crores. He announced that Pachmarhi Garden will now be known as Raja Bhabhoot Singh Udyan (Garden). Similarly, the Government College in Pachmarhi will be renamed Raja Bhabhoot Singh Government College. He also announced the establishment of a Tribal Museum in Pachmarhi and the construction of a waiting area and tin shed at the sacred site of the Korku community.

CM Dr. Yadav stated that a logistics park will be developed in Narmadapuram, which will bring a new wave of development to the region. He further remarked that Pachmarhi is renowned across India and the world for its unparalleled natural beauty and that the region also holds great historical significance. The Madhya Pradesh government is removing developmental hurdles to transform Pachmarhi into one of the most popular tourist destinations. The state government has opened the doors to Pachmarhi’s growth.

The Chief Minister said that to honour the valour and sacrifice of Raja Bhabhoot Singh, a symbol of courage and patriotism, the state government held a cabinet meeting in Pachmarhi, thereby bringing his legacy before society. Raja Bhabhoot Singh was a towering personality who bravely fought the British with valour and set a stellar example of patriotism. He will remain immortal in the collective memory and culture of Madhya Pradesh. Dr. Yadav said that today is a moment of pride for the descendants of Raja Bhabhoot Singh.

Treks Cruiser Vehicles Launched for Jungle Safari

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav flagged off 11 Treks Cruiser vehicles dedicated to jungle safari services. This initiative by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department is a new offering for wildlife lovers and tourists. These 9-seater Treks Cruiser vehicles are comfortable and will be deployed across various tourism units to enhance the jungle safari experience.

Inauguration and Bhoomi-Pujan of Development Works worth Over Rs.33.88 Crores

The Chief Minister inaugurated five tourism development works completed at a cost of Rs.12.49 crore. These include A pink toilet lounge constructed at Jatashankar and Pandav Caves at a cost of Rs.19 lakh, Pathways developed on both sides of roads in Jaystambh area worth Rs.10 crore, A water pipeline and pump house at Dhoopgarh costing Rs.60 lakh, Beautification of the Pachmarhi entrance gate at Rs.35 lakh, Renovation of the kitchen and restaurant and construction of a swimming pool at Satpura Retreat costing Rs.1.35 crore. He also performed the Bhoomi-Pujan for six proposed development projects worth Rs.21.39 crore. These include Infrastructure for tourist facilities and safety at Handikho costing Rs.1.98 crores, Basic infrastructure in Satpura Tiger Reserve worth Rs.2.13 crore, Installation of an RO water plant for a polythene-free Pachmarhi at Rs. 34 lakh, Conversion of Hilltop Bungalow into a Home-Stay at a cost of Rs. 6.70 crore, Development of a community center at a cost of Rs. 9.90 crore and establishment of a central nursery at Glen View for Rs.34 lakhs.
