Review of Agricultural Feeder Project by Union Minister of State Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil; Directed to Accelerate Work

Jalgaon : A review of the progress of the Agricultural Feeder Segregation Project being implemented in the district under the Central Government’s Restructured Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) was conducted today under the chairmanship of Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports Smt. Raksha Khadse at the District Collector’s Office.

Present at the meeting were District Collector Ayush Prasad; Chief Engineer of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL) Vinod Patil; Chief Engineer of the Infrastructure Planning Department Manoj Vishwase; Executive Engineer of the Savda Division Ganesh Mahajan; and various other district-level officers.

During the review, participants discussed in detail the current status of the project, the percentage of work completed, challenges being faced during implementation, and the planning of activities taluka by taluka.

“Speed up progress; address obstacles immediately”

Minister of State Khadse issued clear directives to expedite the ongoing work, resolve implementation obstacles at once, and improve coordination among local administration, MSEDCL, and elected representatives. She emphasized that the project must be completed within the stipulated time to ensure uninterrupted power supply to farmers. She noted that timely and adequate electricity for agriculture would boost crop yields and make farming more profitable under this scheme.

District Collector Ayush Prasad assured that the district administration would provide full cooperation for project implementation.

Officials in attendance presented a progress report and outlined a time-bound plan for completing the remaining work. Measures to address obstacles in each taluka were finalized.

It was also highlighted in the meeting that this project would enable thousands of farmers in the district to receive reliable, uninterrupted power supply on schedule, thereby giving a significant impetus to agriculture.
