Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya Attracts Aspiring Artists from Across the Globe Last Date for Registration: 16 June 2025

Raipur : Khairagarh, revered as a spiritual center for artistic pursuit, is witnessing a new era of artistic renaissance. Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, located in Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh, is Asia’s only university dedicated exclusively to dance, music, and fine arts. For the academic session 2025–26, the university has invited online applications for admission. The last date for registration is 16 June 2025. The first aptitude test for admission will be conducted from 24 to 27 June, with results announced by 30 June. The second aptitude test will be held from 22 to 24 July, and the final selection list will be released on 25 July.

The Government of Chhattisgarh has resolved to elevate the university to international standards. Students from several foreign countries are applying enthusiastically for admission alongside Indian applicants. The university offers diploma and degree programs at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in disciplines such as Hindustani vocal, Hindustani violin, sitar, sarod, tabla, Kathak, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, folk music, theatre, painting, sculpture, and textile design. This diverse curriculum ensures not only mastery across artistic streams but also the holistic development of students. Furthermore, the university is possibly India’s only institution offering Ph.D. and D.Litt. programs in various art subjects to promote advanced research.
