CM Vishnudev Sai Attends Oath Ceremony of Srinivas Maddi as Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Beverages Corporation

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai attended the oath-taking and felicitation ceremony of Shri Srinivas Maddi, newly appointed Chairman of the Chhattisgarh State Beverages Corporation, held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur. The Chief Minister extended his warm wishes to Shri Maddi for taking on the new responsibility.

Addressing the gathering, CM Sai praised Srinivas Maddi’s long-standing social engagement and extensive experience in public service roles. He expressed confidence that Maddi’s expertise would help strengthen the functioning of the Beverages Corporation. CM Sai highlighted his government’s commitment to transparency in governance through innovative reforms.

He also emphasized the government’s dedication to restoring peace and accelerating development in Bastar, stating that alongside anti-Naxal operations, infrastructure and tourism initiatives are being actively promoted to generate self-employment opportunities for locals. He cited the launch of the Milch Cow Scheme, which provides two high-yield cows to tribal families, aiming to boost milk production and raise incomes for farmers and livestock owners.

CM Sai also shared details of his recent meetings in Delhi with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, where crucial developmental issues concerning Chhattisgarh were discussed. He particularly noted fruitful talks on irrigation projects in Bastar and the ambitious plan to link the Indravati and Mahanadi rivers, which he believes will be a transformative step for the region’s future.

Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Raman Singh commended Shri Maddi’s social service experience and recalled his effective leadership during his tenure as Chairman of the Forest Development Corporation. He congratulated Maddi on his new role and wished him success.

Jagdalpur MLA Shri Kiran Dev also spoke at the event, offering his congratulations and best wishes.

The ceremony saw the presence of several dignitaries including Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Tankram Verma, Members of Parliament Rupkumari Choudhary, Mahesh Kashyap, and Bhojraj Nag; MLAs Rajesh Munat, Motilal Sahu, Asharam Netam, Chaitram Atami, Vinayak Goyal, and Dharamlal Kaushik. Also in attendance were chairpersons of various corporations and boards, Managing Director of the Beverages Corporation Shyam Dhawde, officers and staff from the Excise Department, public representatives, and a large number of distinguished citizens.
