Complete the Stalled Redevelopment of Konkan Colony and Shantidoot Housing Society: Housing Minister of State Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar
Mumbai : There have been complaints regarding the stalled redevelopment of LIG-1 Konkan Colony and Mouje Chikanghar Shantidoot Cooperative Housing Society in Kalyan (West), Thane District. Minister of State for Housing Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar has directed that the developer must complete the redevelopment and ensure rightful possession of homes to the residents. Considering the delay caused by the developer, Dr. Bhoyar has instructed that action should be taken as per rules to initiate redevelopment through MHADA.
A meeting regarding the stalled redevelopment projects of LIG-1 Konkan Colony and the Shantidoot Cooperative Housing Society was held at the Mantralaya under the chairmanship of Dr. Bhoyar. The meeting was attended by MLA Narendra Pawar, Deputy Secretary Ajit Kawale, CEO of the Konkan Board Mrs. Gaikar, Deputy Registrar Abhijit Deshpande, Chief Engineer Shivkumar Ade, and concerned local residents.
Residents voiced several concerns regarding the project. Minister Dr. Bhoyar listened to the grievances and directed the concerned authorities to take necessary action in accordance with the law to resolve the issues and move forward with the redevelopment.
