Modern VVIP guest house under construction in Ayodhya with exclusive facilities for PM and CM

Ayodhya : Owing to the visionary leadership and commitment to cultural revival by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the sacred city of Lord Ram—Ayodhya—has evolved beyond its religious significance and is now rising as a modern and global tourism hub. Not only did the Chief Minister prioritize the grand construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, but he also propelled the holistic development of Ayodhya in a mission-mode.

Following the temple’s construction, there has been a significant surge in the number of VIP and VVIP guests visiting Ayodhya, including the President, Prime Minister, Union Ministers, Governors, foreign diplomats, industrialists, film personalities, spiritual leaders, and international delegations. This growing footfall and increased need for security have led to the rapid development of a state-of-the-art VVIP Guest House in Ayodhya.

This modern facility will be equipped with special amenities tailored for the Prime Minister, Chief Minister, and other distinguished guests. The grand guest house is being built in Majha Mirpur over a vast area of 14,510 square meters. The project is being executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode with an estimated budget of ₹9,375.46 lakh. The construction responsibility has been assigned to the Public Works Department (PWD) by the State Property Department. According to Executive Engineer of PWD’s Division-2, Umesh Chandra, ₹3,281.41 lakh has been allocated for this project. Construction began in May 2025 and is expected to be completed by November 2026.

47 Suites and 77 standard rooms to add grandeur

The guest house will feature 47 luxurious suites and 77 standard rooms, all equipped with high-end furnishings, modern toilets, and all essential amenities. It will be divided into six blocks (A to F), with specific arrangements for different categories of guests. In the CM block, precast concrete (PCC) work has been completed, and steel binding with raft work is underway. Excavation work is also progressing in the residential block.

Post the inauguration of the Ram Temple, Ayodhya has witnessed a historic rise in the number of tourists and pilgrims. Alongside this, there has been a frequent arrival of high-profile guests—politicians, bureaucrats, and foreign dignitaries. In view of their safety and comfort, the VVIP Guest House is being built. This facility will not only offer a comfortable stay but also elevate Ayodhya’s global image.

Special focus on security and power infrastructure

The guest house will be outfitted with advanced security technologies, including CCTV surveillance, fire safety systems, and emergency exits. A dedicated power substation will also be set up. The property will feature ample parking, green landscaping, and other eco-friendly measures such as energy conservation and water management.
