Ensure Effective Implementation of Action Plan to Prevent Seasonal Diseases: District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni
District Health Committee Meeting Held at District Collectorate Auditorium
Jaipur – A review meeting of the District Health Committee was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni at the District Collectorate Auditorium. The meeting focused on evaluating various health schemes and programs.
Review of Seasonal Illnesses
The District Collector directed officials to prepare and implement an effective action plan for the prevention and control of seasonal diseases. He instructed timely data entry on the IHIP Portal and emphasized continued precautions for COVID-19.
Review of Government Health Schemes
- Mukhyamantri Nishulk Dawa Yojana (MNDY) and Mukhyamantri Nishulk Jaanch Yojana (MNJY) were reviewed, with instructions issued to improve the quality of medicines and diagnostics under these schemes.
- The Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana was reviewed to ensure wider reach and benefits. Instructions were given for e-KYC and distribution of Ayushman cards, as well as registering beneficiaries above 70 years of age under the Vay Vandana Yojana.
- Directions were given regarding activities under the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Antyodaya Sambal Fortnight, scheduled to begin from June 24.
Focus on NCDs and Vaccination
- The Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Program was reviewed. Officials were instructed to conduct screening of missed beneficiaries and create ABHA IDs.
- The Immunization Program was reviewed with a focus on vaccinating more children and pregnant women.
Maternal & Child Health Services
- Reports on ANC (Antenatal Care), PNC (Postnatal Care), and delivery services were evaluated, with directions issued to improve service quality.
- Timely payments under the Laddu Incentive Scheme and Janani Suraksha Yojana were emphasized.
Review of Other Key Health Programs
- ‘Ma’ Voucher Scheme: Reviewed for effectiveness; officials were asked to enhance its impact.
- Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK): Reviewed for better delivery of child health services.
- PCPNDT Program: Activities under the Prohibition of Sex Selection act were reviewed with a focus on enhancing their effectiveness.
The District Collector also instructed maintenance of health institutions during the monsoon season, including proper cleanliness, solar system installation, and strengthening of medical facilities.
The DTFI (District Task Force on Immunization) meeting reviewed the full scope of the district’s immunization campaign. Special attention was given to accelerating efforts under the TB Mukt Abhiyan (Tuberculosis-Free Campaign).
The meeting was attended by Additional District Collector (North) Shri Mukesh Kumar Moond, Chief Medical and Health Officer (I) Dr. Ravi Shekhawat, CMHO (II) Dr. Manish Mittal, along with Block CMOs, CHC and PHC officials, and other district-level health officers.
