“I want to go to school, please help me get admitted”, girl pleads to CM Yogi at Janata Darshan

Lucknow : At the Janata Darshan held at his official residence on Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was approached by a little girl named Vachi from Moradabad with a heartfelt request. True to his compassionate approach, the CM interacted with her—asking how she was and reading her application.

In a light-hearted moment, the Chief Minister asked, “So, you don’t want to go to school?” To which Vachi promptly replied, “No, I do want to! I meant, please help me get admitted.” When he asked whether she wanted to join Class 10 or 11, she innocently said, “Oh, I don’t know the name.” Her candid response drew smiles all around.

Smiling at her innocence, the Chief Minister handed over her application to Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad with a clear directive, “Ensure this girl is admitted to school, no matter what.” The heartwarming exchange left the other complainants at the ‘Janata Darshan’ smiling.

While the Chief Minister is often seen warmly engaging with children during public events, this touching exchange stood out, reflecting not only his administrative firmness but also his deep affection for children and his enduring connect with the people.

Later, when asked who she had met, Vachi proudly said, “I met Yogi ji. I told him to get me admitted to school, and he said he would. He even gave me biscuits and chocolates.”
