Key Suggestions Emerge During Interaction with Indian Diaspora in Germany; Devnani Assures Resolution and Stronger Role in ‘Rising Rajasthan’

Jaipur | During his visit to Berlin on Tuesday, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani held a cordial and insightful dialogue with members of the Indian diaspora at the Indian Embassy.

The diaspora community presented several important suggestions, to which Mr. Devnani assured that he would take them up with the concerned ministers and departments for resolution.

Among the notable suggestions, Mr. Hargovind Singh Rana, President of the Rajasthan Foundation in Germany, proposed the creation of a ‘Language Park’ in Rajasthan, where German could be taught and used to initiate a new cultural stream of learning and communication. He also emphasized the need to integrate skill development programs and internationally certified vocational courses into the education system to better prepare youth for global employment opportunities and migration.

Mr. Deepak Patil highlighted the pressing need for direct flights between Berlin and major Indian cities like Delhi or Mumbai, to improve connectivity for NRIs, students, and business travelers.

The discussion also touched on entrepreneurial opportunities. Mr. Kamal Mann shared that many Punjabi entrepreneurs based in Germany are eager to invest in Rajasthan, provided the state government offers transparency, guidance, and infrastructure support.

Mrs. Shailja Patil addressed the humanitarian aspect of visa regulations, requesting the Indian government to provide long-term visas for parents of Indian residents in Germany, thereby allowing families to stay united for extended periods and uphold traditional family values.

Mr. Gopinath spoke about the ongoing construction of a Shri Ganesh Temple by the Indian community in Berlin and requested cultural support from the Indian government to strengthen the presence of Indian heritage abroad.

Shri Devnani patiently and sensitively listened to all concerns and suggestions and assured the community that he would present these matters seriously before the relevant ministries. He remarked that the Indian diaspora are true cultural ambassadors of India and that their perspectives, experiences, and innovative ideas greatly contribute to both the state and the nation.

He affirmed that the Rajasthan government is fully committed to every proposal that promotes public welfare, innovation, and international collaboration.

This interaction served not only as an inspiring moment to deepen India-Germany relations but also highlighted how Indian culture, language, education, and business can transcend borders to build a shared future.
