Monsoon Session of Maharashtra Legislature to Begin from June 30
Mumbai : The Monsoon Session of the Maharashtra Legislature will be held in Mumbai from June 30 to July 18, as announced during the meeting of the Legislature Business Advisory Committee.
The meeting was held at the Vidhan Bhavan and attended by Legislative Council Chairperson Prof. Ram Shinde, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Legislative Council Deputy Chairperson Dr. Neelam Gorhe, Assembly Deputy Speaker Anna Bansode, Higher and Technical Education & Parliamentary Affairs Minister Chandrakant (Dada) Patil, Information Technology Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, Water Resources Minister Girish Mahajan, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Ambadas Danve, and Assembly members Deepak Kesarkar, Bhaskar Jadhav, Nitin Raut, Jitendra Awhad, Ameen Patel, and Legislative Council members Bhai Jagtap, Pravin Darekar, Prasad Lad, Shrikant Bharatiya, among other officials.
The session’s schedule and agenda planning were discussed during the meeting. Legislature Secretary Jitendra Bhole provided detailed information about the proceedings.
