Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is working for the welfare of all sections. By promoting industrialization, self-employment opportunities are being created for the youth. The government is increasing the amount given under the Ladli Behna scheme. Ladli Behnas working in textile parks will be given an additional Rs 5000. The amount of Ladli Behna scheme will gradually be increased to Rs 3000.

A directive has been issued to conduct MPPSC exams of the past three years together. No harm will be allowed to the youth. Recruitment is taking place for one lakh government posts. The state government has cleared the path for promotions pending for nine years, which will create possibilities for recruitment to 2 lakh new posts.

For a long time after independence, the price of wheat was Rs 600; now the government is purchasing wheat from farmers at Rs 2600 per quintal. Due to river linking projects, the area under irrigation in the state is increasing. The state government ensured Rs 300 crore for workers of Indore’s Hukumchand Mill, ending a 30-year-old dispute. Similar efforts are ongoing for Sajjan Mill in Ratlam and the mill in Gwalior.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said this at the “MP Tak Baithak” dialogue programme organised by India Today Media Group at a private hotel in Bhopal.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all possible efforts are being made for the development of the religious city Ujjain. Preparations for Simhastha-2028 are underway. All previous records will be broken in this event. Work is ongoing on the Kanh River Project to keep the Kshipra River alive throughout the year. The Gambhir River is also being included in it. The water of Kshipra will benefit pilgrims and farmers. The state government will bring a bill within one year to boost metropolitan development.

Madhya Pradesh Tourism Corporation is the only tourism board in the country that is in profit. The cost-effective advertisements created by us have played a significant role in this. The state government has linked tourism with wildlife. Madhya Pradesh ranks number one in the population of tigers, cheetahs, gharials, and vultures. He said that Indore’s poha can become the ambassador of delicacies. Poha prepared on steam uses less oil. Prime Minister Shri Modi has also appealed to everyone to reduce oil consumption in their diet by 10 percent.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Dr. Ambedkar ended caste conflicts and worked to unite the nation. Our government has constructed five memorials dedicated to Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Now, with the beginning of caste census, various misconceptions will be cleared. Reservation will be decided based on caste census data. The state government is committed to providing 27 percent reservation to OBCs.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the continuous cooperation and support of the people of the state is being received in the implementation of public welfare and development activities.
