Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav To interact with Real Estate Investors
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the “Madhya Pradesh Growth Conclave 2025 – Cities of Tomorrow” on July 11 at the Brilliant Convention Centre, Indore. CM Dr. Yadav will interact with key investors from the hotel, tourism, real estate and infrastructure sectors during the conclave, which is centered around the blueprint and future vision for urban development in the state.
CM Dr. Yadav will arrive at event venue at 1:30 PM. The event will witness participation from 1,500 investors, industrialists and corporate representatives across the country. The CM will visit the exhibition, and meet with distinguished guests. CM Dr. Yadav will inaugurate the conclave at 3:00 PM lighting of lamp.
Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya and senior officials from the Department of Urban Administration will also be present. An exhibition featuring participation from CREDAI, municipal corporations, IDA, Smart City, Housing Board, Metro, HUDCO, LIC and other major institutions will be organised as part of the event.
Technical Sessions to be Held
The conclave will host four technical sessions on key urban topics including Modern Technology for Urban Excellence, Cities as Growth Hubs, Green and Sustainable Urbanisation for the Future and Mobility for the Cities of Tomorrow.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also unveil the MP Locker, release the brochure of the ET Urban Transformation Summit 2025, preside over MoU signings and inaugurate the special showcase titled “Saugaat” during the conclave. Certificates of appreciation will also be presented to investors. Additionally, short films on urban investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh will be screened.
Investment Opportunities in Urbanisation
Madhya Pradesh offers tremendous investment potential in areas such as Metro rail, e-buses, multimodal transport hubs, affordable housing, waterfront development, sewerage networks, e-governance, clean energy, electric vehicles and smart roads.
Over 8,32,000 affordable houses have already been built under the affordable housing scheme and work is underway on more than 1 million additional units, involving an estimated investment of Rs. 50,000 crore. The state has skilled human resource pool to execute real estate and infrastructure projects.
Urban areas in Madhya Pradesh enjoy widespread pipeline water supply coverage and 100% sewerage infrastructure. 23 municipal services have been made available online through a digital platform. Approvals are now being granted via a centralised digital portal.
Currently, 17,230 urban infrastructure projects are under implementation. Projects worth Rs. 2,800 crore for clean urban environments and Rs. 2,000 crore for waterfront development are underway. To improve urban mobility, projects worth Rs. 21,000 crore are being executed.
To curb air pollution and reduce the carbon footprint from petroleum fuels, electric vehicles are being promoted, and 552 electric buses are being deployed in major cities. Madhya Pradesh has implemented the Electric Vehicle Policy–2025 to encourage EV adoption.
