CM Dhami Directs Timely Completion of Preparations for ₹1 Lakh Crore Grounding Ceremony in Rudrapur
Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, during a high-level meeting held on Thursday at the Chief Minister’s residence, directed officials to ensure the timely completion of all preparations for the successful organization of the proposed ₹1 lakh crore Grounding Ceremony in Rudrapur. He emphasized that the event should be grand and impactful, reflecting the rapid industrial progress of the state and giving it a new identity.
The Chief Minister informed that Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah will be the chief guest at this grand event. He added that the ceremony will provide a new direction to the industrial future of the state and open up extensive employment opportunities for the youth of Uttarakhand.
The CM highlighted that during the Global Investors Summit held in 2023, the state government received investment proposals worth ₹3.5 lakh crore, out of which grounding of ₹1 lakh crore has already been accomplished—demonstrating investors’ trust in Uttarakhand’s industrial development. He noted that the upcoming event will also promote local entrepreneurship and pave new paths for the state’s economic prosperity.
He instructed officials to make all arrangements related to the event with alertness and coordination to present a strong image of the state’s investment-friendly environment to the nation and the world.
The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary Shri R.K. Sudhanshu, Shri R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretaries Shri Shailesh Bagauli and Shri Vinay Shankar Pandey, Additional Director General of Police Shri A.P. Anshuman, Special Secretary Dr. Parag Madhukar Dhakate, Additional Secretary Shri Banshidhar Tiwari, and Managing Director (Industries) Shri Saurabh Gaharwar.
