Online Counselling Process Begins for Admission into Undergraduate Courses at Agricultural Colleges

Raipur : The online counselling process for admission into B.Sc. (Agriculture) Honours undergraduate courses under the New Education Policy 2020 has officially begun for the academic session 2025–26 at both government and private agricultural colleges affiliated with Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV).

Key Dates and Details:

• Phase 1 Counselling: 15 to 21 July 2025
• College & Seat Allotment: 15 July, based on PAT merit list and online registration
• Document Verification: 16 to 18 July, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM at College of Agriculture, Raipur
• Online Fee Payment (to secure seats): 16 to 19 July

The university administration has emphasized that the entire counselling process is completely transparent. It has warned applicants not to fall prey to fraudulent claims by individuals promising admissions through unfair means.

Further Counselling Rounds:

• Candidates who fail to secure seats in the first round or wish to participate in subsequent rounds must apply online for Spot and Conversion Counselling between 16 and 19 July 2025 (by 11:30 PM).
• Candidates who wish to cancel their allotted seat and not participate in further rounds may also do so within the same timeframe.
• Seat Vacancy & Final Allotment List will be published on 21 July 2025.

Spot and Conversion Counselling:

• List of Registered Candidates: To be uploaded on IGKV website on 21 July 2025
• Spot Counselling Seat Allotment: 22–23 July
• Document Verification & Fee Payment (for Spot Counselling): 22–23 July at College of Agriculture, Raipur
• Conversion Counselling: Will be conducted on 25 July, including instant allotment, document verification, and fee payment at the same venue.
