Meeting of Cabinet Sub-Committee Held Under Deputy CM Vijay Sharma on Cases Related to Political Movements

Raipur : A meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee, constituted to review cases registered purely in connection with political movements, was held on 18 July at the Vidhan Sabha premises in Raipur under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma.

The meeting was attended by fellow sub-committee members — Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Agriculture Minister Shri Ram Vichar Netam, and Women & Child Development Minister Smt. Laxmi Rajwade.

During the meeting, the sub-committee reviewed 15 cases from various districts that were registered purely in connection with political agitations. The sub-committee will present its recommendations on these cases to the state Cabinet, which will then take further action based on the committee’s suggestions.

Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma stated that so far, the sub-committee has reviewed a total of 139 such cases. Of these, 126 cases have already been recommended for resolution in previous Cabinet meetings.
