CM Dr. Yadav To Inaugurate State-Of-The-Art CT Scan And MRI Services In Bhopal

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Madhya Pradesh Government is committed to providing modern, accessible and inclusive healthcare services to people of the state. The government is continuously working to equip medical education and public health services with modern technology to make them more accessible and efficient. In this direction, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will inaugurate an ultra-modern CT Scan machine (80-row detector acquiring – 128-slice) and an MRI machine (1.5 Tesla) at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal on July 25. Notably, this facility is the first to be launched among all government medical colleges in the state. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla and Minister of State for Public Health and Medical Education Shri Narendra Shivaji Patel will also be present on the occasion.

Enhanced Education And Research Opportunities For Medical Students

Under the Ayushman Bharat and other government schemes these advanced machines will provide free CT Scan and MRI services to the patients covered under the secheme. This will significantly strengthen quality and reach of healthcare services in the state. The installation of these machines will offer better academic opportunities to UG, PG, and paramedical students and will accelerate research activities. Moreover, people of the state will now have access to high-quality diagnostic services in Bhopal itself, eliminating the need to travel to other states. The government has also ensured the availability of trained technical staff to operate these machines.

These machines include high-quality cardiac packages, which allow for advanced and accurate diagnosis of heart diseases. The MRI machine is equipped with dedicated breast coils and other high-quality essential coils, enabling in-depth breast cancer diagnostics with ease. The CT Scan machine is equipped with volumetric, fusion, and perfusion technologies, enabling rapid and comprehensive diagnostics. These machines are capable of fast screening and can also be used for research based on artificial intelligence.
