CM Vishnudev Sai Approves ₹1.72 Crore for Rest House Construction in Farsabahar

Approval Follows His Announcement Made During Tapkara Visit

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai is swiftly fulfilling the promises he made. Following his recent visit to Tapkara, he has given administrative approval for ₹1.72 crore to construct a rest house in Farsabahar, an announcement he had made on 28 June during a public event in the region.

During that same event, the Chief Minister also announced the upgradation of Tapkara to Nagar Panchayat status, ₹50 lakh for beautification of the local stadium, and the construction of the Farsabahar rest house.

Tehsil Office Brings Relief to Residents in Tapkara

CM Sai noted that due to his government’s efforts, citizens now benefit from better access to essential services. The opening of a tehsil office has eased the public’s dependency on far-off revenue offices. He added that his administration is committed to implementing the guarantees of Prime Minister Modi without delay.

In the very first cabinet meeting after assuming office, the government approved 18 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under the PMAY Plus Plus scheme, families with up to 5 acres of non-irrigated land or 2.5 acres of irrigated land, owning a two-wheeler and having an income of up to ₹15,000, will also be eligible for housing assistance.

CM Sai mentioned that during PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Chhattisgarh, three lakh beneficiaries were granted house possession under the housing scheme. Additionally, through the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, 70 lakh women are receiving ₹1,000 monthly to promote women’s empowerment.

To increase income for tendu leaf collectors, the procurement rate has been raised to ₹5,500 per standard bag. In an effort to provide banking services at the village level, Atal Digital Seva Kendras are being established, with plans to inaugurate them in every village panchayat on the upcoming Panchayat Day.
