District Minister-in-Charge Emphasizes Timely and Quality Execution of Flagship Schemes and Departmental Projects in Pali
Jaipur : A departmental review meeting was held today in the Zila Parishad auditorium in Pali under the chairmanship of Shri Jhabar Singh Khara, Minister of Autonomous Governance and the District In-Charge Minister for Pali. The meeting focused on reviewing the state’s major flagship schemes, programs, and departmental achievements, with feedback taken from officials and necessary instructions issued.
Minister Khara emphasized that all works must be completed with high quality and within the stipulated timeframe in accordance with the vision of the state government and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, to ensure maximum benefit to the public.
Review of Key Departments and Schemes
During the meeting, the Minister reviewed the progress of various departments and the implementation of flagship schemes. He gave instructions for quality construction under the Public Works Department’s new road projects.
While reviewing the electricity department, the Minister examined progress under KUSUM components A, B, and C, and sought updates on resolving voltage-related issues under the Revised Distribution Area Scheme.
The Health Department was instructed to intensify preventive activities for seasonal diseases during the monsoon.
Under the Public Health Engineering Department, updates were taken on the implementation of the AMRUT scheme and other budget announcements.

Pali Tops in Water Conservation
Minister Khara highlighted that Pali district ranked first in Rajasthan under the Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan, reviewing progress in water conservation efforts like construction of new water tanks, pasture fencing, and afforestation programs under the Forest Department. He also gave directives for ensuring survival of planted saplings.
In the Swachh Bharat Urban Mission, he reviewed key issues including door-to-door waste collection, waste processing, legacy waste disposal, and liquid waste management in the Pali Municipal Corporation.
Green Rajasthan Campaign & Local Innovations
Minister Khara, along with Secretary-in-Charge Ashwini Bhagat, reviewed initiatives under the “Hariyalo Rajasthan” (Green Rajasthan) campaign, emphasizing:
- Tree plantation
- Construction of water bodies
- Geo-tracking of trees
- Planting of shade trees
- Sowing Dhaman grass between tree rows for added ecological benefit
In a rural entrepreneurship push, he proposed training village women under Rajeevika on repairing SOP drones and solar equipment.
Rain Preparedness and Urban Drainage
District Collector L.N. Mantri provided a detailed departmental update and explained efforts taken to address urban waterlogging, including collaboration with the Municipal Corporation, UIT, and RIICO for drainage improvement, canal cleaning, culvert construction, and stormwater management.
Focus on Infrastructure Safety and Accident Prevention
Towards the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Khara urged all officials to ensure that the public receives the maximum benefit from the Rajasthan Government’s flagship schemes. Referring to a recent school accident, he instructed the Education and Health Departments to conduct a survey of dilapidated buildings to prevent future casualties.
He directed UIT and the Municipal Corporation to remove any obstructions—government or private—that could pose risks, especially during the rainy season. After the meeting, the Minister toured the city to assess local conditions.
