Rajasthan Legislative Assembly to Celebrate Amrit Mahotsav of Its Establishment – Speaker Devanani

Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devanani announced that the Assembly will celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav (Platinum Jubilee) of its establishment. He said that preparations are underway for the inauguration of the Amrit Mahotsav as the Assembly enters its 75th year. Shri Devanani was addressing the retirement ceremony of three officials in the Assembly on Tuesday. He honored retiring Deputy Secretary Shri Banwari Lal Meena, Assistant Secretary Shri Narendra Kumar Sharma, and Private Secretary Shri Purushottam Sharma for their dedicated service.

Living Symbol of Democracy – Shri Devanani
Shri Devanani stated that the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is counted among the finest assemblies in the country and serves as a living symbol of democracy. He mentioned that the Assembly’s political narrative museum is visited daily by the general public. He called upon Assembly staff to actively participate in making this sacred site of democracy vibrant and engaging.

The Speaker emphasized that the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly is a symbol of the state’s democratic dignity, and its prestige and effectiveness depend entirely on the hard work and dedication of all employees. Present on the occasion were Assembly Principal Secretary Shri Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Special Assistant Shri K.K. Sharma, Senior Deputy Secretary Shri Purushottam Sharma, President of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Employees’ Cooperative Credit Society Shri Ravi Jain, along with other Assembly officers and employees.

Former Himachal Pradesh Speaker Visits Rajasthan Assembly
Former Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Rajeev Bindal paid a courtesy visit to Shri Vasudev Devanani at the Rajasthan Assembly on Tuesday. Shri Devanani showed Shri Bindal the Assembly hall and the building during his visit.
