Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma Undertakes Devotional Padayatra to Ramdevra Temple

Ramdevra, Jaisalmer | Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma embarked on a spiritual journey during his one-day visit to Jaisalmer on Thursday, where he undertook a sacred padayatra (foot pilgrimage) from Baba Ramdev Panorama to the renowned Baba Ramdev Temple in Ramdevra. Throughout the walk, the Chief Minister warmly interacted with devotees, who responded with great enthusiasm and reverence.

As he walked with the ceremonial dhwaja (flag) of Baba Ramdev in hand, CM Sharma was greeted with floral showers, garlands, and cheers at multiple points along the route. The spiritually charged atmosphere was further enriched by local folk artists who accompanied the procession, singing devotional “rikkhiyaan” (traditional songs in praise of Baba Ramdev).

Visited the Sacred Samadhi Sites of Baba Ramdev and Dali Bai

Upon completing the padayatra, the Chief Minister paid homage at the samadhi (memorial) of Baba Ramdev, praying for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Rajasthan. He later visited the samadhi of Dali Bai, a devoted disciple of Baba Ramdev, where he offered prayers and participated in rituals. CM Sharma also took time to listen to devotional renditions of Baba Ramdev’s life at the Jamma Jagran Sthal within the temple premises.

Appreciation for Ramdev Panorama and Environmental Message

Earlier in the day, CM Sharma visited the Baba Ramdev Panorama, where he appreciated the vivid and artistic depictions of Baba Ramdev’s life and contributions. He also planted a banyan tree in the premises, symbolizing a commitment to environmental conservation.

The occasion witnessed the presence of several dignitaries and local leaders including Shriyade Mati Kala Board Chairman Mr. Prahlad Rai Tak, MLA Mr. Chhotu Singh Bhati, Mahant Pratap Puri, and Mr. Babu Singh Rathore. The Chief Minister was welcomed at the helipad by Health and Medical Minister Mr. Gajendra Singh Khimsar. A large number of devotees and locals joined the proceedings, making it a vibrant and spiritually uplifting event.
