“Daughters Driving India’s Future: 34 Students Receive Scooters in Jodhpur”
Jaipur Aug 2025 : The district-level Indira Priyadarshini Scooty Distribution Program was held on Saturday at Shri Mahalaxmi Educational Institute, Pratap Nagar, Jodhpur district, under the chairmanship of Union Minister of Culture and Tourism, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, with Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Law, and Legal Affairs, Shri Jogaram Patel, as the chief guest.
Union Minister Shri Shekhawat stated that daughters today are not only enhancing the pride of their families but also of the entire nation. The circumstances in which they have achieved success are a testament to their courage, determination, and spirit of service. They represent the future of India.
He added that daughters who grow up amidst hardships and use education as a medium of service, contribute to society and become harbingers of a new revolution. Their confidence, hard work, and dedication make them a source of inspiration. Today’s daughters are not just dreaming; they are turning those dreams into reality.
Shri Shekhawat emphasized that in the Amrit Kaal, as India moves towards transformation, daughters will play a decisive role. They are becoming the catalysts of change and the foundation of a developed India.
Expressing confidence, he said that by 2047, when India becomes a developed nation, these daughters will hold the most significant role, guiding society through their determination and struggle.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Patel stated that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, the state government is committed to educational advancement and youth welfare. He mentioned that in just 18 months, the state government has distributed 32,907 scooters under the Kali Bai Bhil Medhavi Chhatra Scooty Scheme and the Devnarayan Scooty Scheme, along with distributing 10.51 lakh bicycles to ensure easy access to schools and colleges.
Shri Patel further said that recognizing the importance of information technology for children, 89,000 students have been provided with tablets and laptops. Under the RTE, the fees of over 2 lakh newly admitted students amounting to ₹907 crore have been reimbursed. He also mentioned that under the Lado Incentive Scheme, an amount of ₹1.5 lakh is being provided for the secure future of daughters.

Education Minister Shri Madan Dilawar joined the program virtually and extended his best wishes to the students for their bright futures.
MLA of Soorsagar Shri Devendra Joshi highlighted that the Rajasthan government is running numerous schemes to educate and empower girls, making them self-reliant.
Under the Indira Priyadarshini Scooty Distribution Program, scooters were distributed to 10 students for the 2021-22 session and to 24 students for the 2022-23 session.
