False Allegations Against Satyendar Jain: FIR Must Be Filed Against BJP Leader Vijender Gupta, LG, and CBI Officials — Saurabh Bhardwaj
- “The court’s dismissal of the case proves Vijender Gupta’s complaint was baseless and aimed solely at defaming Satyendar Jain and AAP,” says Saurabh Bhardwaj.
- “The LG forwarded Gupta’s false complaint to the CBI without verifying facts, resulting in a fabricated case against Jain,” Bhardwaj alleged.
- “The CBI launched an investigation without evidence, harassing Satyendar Jain, his family, and the Aam Aadmi Party,” Bhardwaj stated.
New Delhi, Aug 2025 : A day after a CBI court acquitted senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former PWD Minister Satyendar Jain in a fabricated corruption case, AAP continued its sharp attack on the BJP on Tuesday. Delhi AAP President Saurabh Bhardwaj said Jain has received “half justice” and will get full justice only when legal action is initiated against those who defamed him with false accusations. Bhardwaj demanded that an FIR be lodged against BJP senior leader and former Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta, as well as the Lieutenant Governor (LG) and CBI officials involved in the conspiracy.
Bhardwaj accused Vijender Gupta of filing a bogus complaint, which was then forwarded by the LG to the CBI for investigation without verifying its merit. “Despite the complaint being hollow, a false FIR was registered against Satyendar Jain. The CBI, without any credible evidence, initiated an investigation, continuously harassing Jain, his family, and the Aam Aadmi Party. Should there not be legal repercussions for such harassment?” Bhardwaj questioned.
He further asserted that the court’s closure of the case clearly exposes the malicious intent behind the complaint, which was solely to malign Jain and AAP. Bhardwaj emphasized that the law must provide remedies for such injustices. “Here, a BJP leader and former Leader of Opposition, Vijender Gupta, files a false complaint. The BJP-appointed LG refers it to the CBI for investigation, despite knowing it lacks any substance. Nevertheless, Satyendar Jain’s name is deliberately inserted into the complaint,” Bhardwaj added.
He detailed how the LG sanctioned an inquiry based on this complaint, leading to an FIR against Jain, CBI raids at his residence, and a media smear campaign. “Satyendar Jain’s family and children were harassed. Does the law have any provisions to compensate for such social damage?” Bhardwaj asked, demanding legal action against Vijender Gupta, the LG, and CBI officials responsible for registering a baseless FIR.
Bhardwaj further remarked, “The CBI could have opted to register a case without naming any individual and conducted its inquiry. However, when there was no credible evidence of corruption, how can one justify targeting Satyendar Jain by name and ordering an investigation? This proves that Vijender Gupta’s complaint was a deliberate attempt to defame Jain.”
He concluded by reiterating that legal proceedings must be initiated against Vijender Gupta, the LG, and the CBI officials involved. “If no case is filed against them, it will be a blatant exception to the principles of justice and the rule of law,” Bhardwaj stated.
