Rationalisation Policy Aligned with Chief Minister’s Vision Brings New Dimension to Education in Remote Areas

Quality and Regular Education Reaches Even the Remote Forest Hamlets like Bagdihpara

Raipur, Aug 2025 :The school-teacher rationalisation policy, initiated by the State Government under the vision of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, is now yielding positive results on the ground, significantly enhancing the quality and reach of education across Chhattisgarh. The impact of this initiative is clearly visible in Bagdihpara Primary School, located in the remote Manpat development block of Sarguja division, where two teachers are now regularly posted, ensuring better educational facilities for children.

Previously, this school operated with a limited number of teachers, depriving students of comprehensive subject instruction. However, following the rationalisation process, Mr. Ranjit Khalkho was recently posted here. He not only strengthened the academic framework of the school but also considered it a privilege to serve in such a remote tribal region. Mr. Khalkho was earlier posted as a surplus teacher at Badwapath Primary School. Under the transparent and need-based rationalisation process launched by the government, he was given the opportunity to select a new school as per his preference, which he chose as the distant Bagdihpara Primary School.

With the presence of two teachers, regular classes are now being conducted in the school. Student attendance has increased, and parents’ confidence in the education system has grown significantly. A new sense of trust regarding education has emerged within the village community, made possible by the government’s firm determination and systematic execution of this policy.

The rationalisation policy, initiated on the directive of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, is not merely a structural reform but a significant step towards actualising the Right to Education for every child. The policy ensures that children in even the most remote areas of the state are not deprived of quality and proper education. It has become a strategic tool for the balanced distribution of teachers, thereby strengthening the foundation of the education system across villages.

This initiative is a testament to the government’s resolve to make meaningful changes at the grassroots level, ensuring that every child receives their rightful access to education, regardless of their geographical location. The success of Bagdihpara is a shining example of how visionary policy-making, coupled with committed implementation, can bring transformative change to rural education in Chhattisgarh.
