Mahtari Vandan Scheme: Purnima Lays the Foundation for Her Children’s Future with ₹1,000 Monthly Support

Also Availing Benefits of Free Ration and Other Schemes

Raipur, Aug 2025 : The government is running several public welfare schemes for ordinary citizens, including ration, pension, Mahtari Vandan, and many programs from different departments. Under the directions of Mungeli Collector Mr. Kundan Kumar, the concerned departments are continuously working to ensure that these benefits reach all eligible people.

One such beneficiary is Mrs. Purnima Banjara from Kali Mai Ward, Mungeli, who is building the foundation for her children’s secure future with the ₹1,000 she receives every month under the Mahtari Vandan scheme. In addition, she is also availing free ration under the government’s Food Security Scheme.

Purnima shared that under the Mahtari Vandan Scheme, ₹1,000 is credited to her account every month. Instead of spending this amount, she has opened an RD (Recurring Deposit) account in the bank to save it for her children’s secure future. She has two children, both studying in private schools. Her younger son is receiving quality education in a private school under the government’s Right to Free and Compulsory Education Scheme.

She expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Sao, and the government-administration for implementing these public welfare schemes.
