Government Will Provide Full Support for Treatment of Serious Illnesses: Chief Minister

CM Yogi Meets 200 People at Gorakhnath Temple, Listens to Their Grievances
Orders Officials to Ensure Quick and Satisfactory Resolution

Gorakhpur, Aug 2025 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured people seeking financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses during Janata Darshan that they should undergo treatment at the best possible hospitals without any worry, as the government would provide full financial support. He said the government would arrange funds for all treatment expenses. The CM also instructed officials to expedite the process of preparing treatment cost estimates for those requiring financial aid and submit them to the administration promptly. Every needy person would receive adequate assistance from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.

CM Yogi had arrived in Gorakhpur on Saturday evening. After spending the night at the Gorakhnath Temple, he met around 200 people on Sunday morning during the Janata Darshan held at the temple. Sitting in the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan auditorium within the temple premises, the Chief Minister listened to each person’s problems one by one, assuring resolution and handing over their petitions to the concerned officials. He told everyone that there was no need to worry or panic—every problem would be resolved.

The Chief Minister instructed officials to address public grievances with utmost seriousness and sensitivity, ensuring quick, quality, and satisfactory resolutions so that no one suffers unnecessarily. He emphasized adopting a compassionate approach towards every complainant, solving their issues to their satisfaction, and avoiding any negligence. He directed that if anyone was found encroaching on land or engaging in hooliganism, strict legal action should be taken. In family disputes, priority should be given to bringing both parties together for dialogue. Responding to a woman’s plea, he instructed officials to allot her a land lease (patta).

As in previous Janata Darshan sessions, several people came seeking financial help for serious medical treatments. CM Yogi reassured everyone that his government would never let a lack of funds become a barrier to any needy person’s treatment and that assistance would be provided from the Discretionary Fund.
