Jaipur Government School Girls Tie Rakhi to President and Chief Minister

Jaipur, Aug 2025 — On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, girl students from government schools in Jaipur tied rakhis to President Droupadi Murmu and Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma. Four students from Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ School, located in village Panwalia, Bagru, had the opportunity to tie rakhis to President Droupadi Murmu. Nodal Principal Pooja Jhanjhariya accompanied the girls during the ceremony. The event at Rashtrapati Bhavan saw participation from selected girls from 17 states across the country, including Rajasthan. The students from Sanganer Block tied the rakhi to the President and wished her a long and healthy life.

At the Raksha Samman ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s residence, 231 students and 8 teachers from PM Shri Government Adarsh Girls’ Higher Secondary School (Gangauri Bazaar), Mahatma Gandhi Government School (Jadia Colony, Raj Bhavan), Shaheed Lieutenant Abhay Parik Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School (Gandhinagar), and Maharaja Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School (Chhoti Chaupar) tied rakhis to Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma.
