Indian democracy is an example for the world: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the strength of Indian democracy is that even an ordinary person can hold the highest position. While democracy is dying in India’s neighboring country Pakistan, Indian democracy is presented as a perfect example in the world. The efforts of the Sansadiya Vidyapeeth to impart parliamentary knowledge to the students are unique. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented awards for various competitions organized by Pandit Kunjilal Dubey Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth today.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that M.P. Sansadiya Vidyapith has provided an important platform to the students through the annual prize distribution program in the Mansarovar Auditorium of the Legislative Assembly. Dr. Yadav said that if we look at the ancient history of India, there are examples of the creation of districts, change of power, and the installation of another person on the throne in the changed system. From the era of Chandragupta till the attainment of independence, many ideals of working for the nation’s honor have been established. Despite appearing on the merit list in the ICS examination, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose chose to serve the nation instead of taking up a job. In our country, during the period of 1975, system change took place through the power of youth. With time, India’s democracy has continuously emerged stronger.

Presiding over the program, Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said that we should be proud of the democratic system. Many times difficulties arise in operating this system, but our resolve should be to overcome the difficulties and achieve success. India is the world’s largest democracy. It should be our endeavor to ensure that India’s democracy continues to remain prestigious. Democracy is in our veins. The role of Pandit Kunjilal Dubey Rashtriya Sansadiya Vidyapeeth is commendable to ensure that the new generation also knows the characteristics and systems of democracy. Efforts should be made by the Vidyapeeth to show the Legislative Assembly as well as the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha to the students. With this, students will become familiar with parliamentary traditions.

Shri Tomar said that Madhya Pradesh Assembly has a rich library. Besides, documents are also being digitized here. Shri Tomar said that it is the specialty of Indian democracy that when the counting of votes takes place after voting, the results are obtained within a few hours. There is no such system in many countries. Shri Tomar said that many changes have taken place in the last decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. There will be development in all sectors to make India a world leader by the year 2047. In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is also working with determination for rapid progress.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya said that the Central Government has praised Madhya Pradesh in the recent statistical survey. Youth Parliament and other events organized by the Sansadiya Vidyapeeth are commendable. Today’s young generation has good knowledge. Our youth are talented. They should be given due respect with full opportunity. Additional Chief Secretary of Parliamentary Affairs Shri K.C. Gupta and Principal Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Assembly Shri A.P. Singh also addressed the gathering. Vice Chancellor of Bhopal Barkatullah University, Prof. Suresh Kumar Jain along with students in a large number was present.
