Civil Amenities Prepared in Chinchbhuwan Village Transferred to Nagpur Municipal Corporation by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis

Cheque of ₹50 Lakhs Presented for Chief Minister’s Relief Fund by MIHAN Ltd.

Nagpur, Aug 2025 : The civil amenities prepared in Sector Nos. 34, 35, and 36 of the alternative village in Chinchbhuwan were today transferred to the Nagpur Municipal Corporation by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Additionally, a cheque of ₹50 lakhs was presented for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund by MIHAN India Limited.

In a small ceremony held at the Ramgiri Government Residence, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis facilitated the transfer of civil amenities and received the cheque from MIHAN India Limited. Present at the event were Municipal Commissioner Dr. Abhijit Chaudhary, District Collector Dr. Bipin Itankar, Additional Municipal Commissioner Vasumuna Pant, Dean of Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur, Dr. Raj Gajbhiye, Dean of Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, Dr. Ravi Chavhan, and Senior Airport Director of MIHAN India Limited, M.A. Abid Ruhi, among others.

District Collector Dr. Itankar provided an overview of the transfer of civil amenities for the alternative village in Chinchbhuwan to the municipal corporation. Following this, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis presented the transfer certificate to the Municipal Commissioner. At this time, the Chief Minister accepted the cheque of ₹50 lakhs for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund from MIHAN India Limited. Under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund of MIHAN India Limited, cheques were also presented: ₹45,43,936 for Government Medical College and Hospital, ₹30 lakhs for Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, ₹25 lakhs for the Municipal Corporation, and ₹24,93,000 for the Women Education Society (LAD College) by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

About Civil Amenities in Chinchbhuwan Village

The rehabilitation of project-affected individuals from the urban areas of Mauja-Jayatala, Bhamati, Chinchbhuwan, and Shivangaon has been planned over an area of 58.21 hectares east of National Highway No. 44, with around 1,506 plots demarcated. A total of 1,161 project-affected individuals from Shivangaon have been allotted plots, out of which 1,075 have been handed over possession. Approximately 400 to 415 project-affected individuals have relocated to the new alternative village. Furthermore, construction of around 600 houses is currently underway. A total of ₹65.80 crores has been spent on developing the civil amenities, which have now been handed over to the Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
