Jaipur, Aug 2025 :The two-day state-level Chintan Shivir organized by the Education Department in the sacred land of Mewar, Rajsamand, concluded on Saturday, marking a historic step in the field of education. Education Minister Shri Madan Dilawar personally attended all sessions, listening carefully to every suggestion.

The objective of the Shivir was to strengthen a quality-based, inclusive, and employment-oriented education system that integrates cultural values, ethics, social harmony, and life values. Calling the Shivir a milestone, Education Minister Shri Madan Dilawar said the outcomes will play a vital role in making Rajasthan a leader in the field of education across the country.

Deliberations were held on various dimensions of education. Experts discussed holistic education, the mid-day meal program, effective implementation of the National Education Policy-2020, expansion of Indian knowledge traditions, and overall student development. The purpose of education, they emphasized, is not only success but also meaningfulness and the promotion of social harmony. Special focus was given to incorporating moral education, life values, and cultural ethics into the curriculum.

Concrete measures to increase school enrollment and reduce dropout rates were discussed. Experts also shared their views on safe school infrastructure, clean and green campuses, awareness on POCSO-related issues, stress management, and student routines. Strategies were presented to promote inclusive education, digital education, and girls’ education.

Skill development, vocational education, and employment-oriented curricula were emphasized. Under institutional reforms, strengthening bodies such as the State Open School, Rajasthan State Council of Educational Research and Training, Textbook Board, and DIET institutions was also discussed.

Deliberations were also held on ensuring transparency in procurement processes, financial management, and timely resolution of audit objections. Experts provided effective suggestions for improvements that will make the functioning of the Education Department more transparent and efficient.

Addressing the closing session, Education Minister Shri Madan Dilawar expressed heartfelt gratitude to all experts, educationists, and participants for making the Chintan Shivir a success. He said, “This Chintan Shivir is a historic step in the field of value-based education. With the guidance of experts and the conclusions drawn here, Rajasthan will set new milestones in education. This effort is not only to strengthen Rajasthan’s education system but also an exemplary integration of Indian knowledge traditions, ethical values, and modern technological education. The ideas and suggestions that emerged here will pave the way for revolutionary changes in the field of education.”

Rajsamand MP Mahima Kumari Mewar emphasized the importance of identifying and nurturing every child’s individual talent. She said, “Every child has some unique ability. Through proper counseling and guidance, children should be inspired to build successful careers in their areas of interest.” Similarly, MLA Shri Surendra Singh Rathore stressed the importance of quality education and shared his suggestions.

The program was attended by eminent citizens, experts, and public representatives.
