District Collector Issues Strict Instructions to Officials

Jaipur, Aug 2025: The district administration is taking a serious view of the situation created by the recent rains in the district. District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni has issued strict instructions to officials to remain alert to the situation created by the rains in the district.

Instructions to Officials

The District Collector has issued an order directing officials to take immediate action in case of waterlogging and soil erosion in government buildings, including schools and anganwadi centers. Officials have been instructed to take necessary action during the declared holidays on Monday and Tuesday to ensure that waterlogging and soil erosion do not cause any damage to buildings.

Action Required

Officials have been instructed to:

* Ensure water drainage and soil filling in affected buildings using funds from gram panchayats, local bodies, philanthropic organizations, or departmental funds.

* Assess the condition of dilapidated buildings and walls and take decisions accordingly.

* Take necessary arrangements during the declared holidays on25 and26 August to prevent any untoward incidents.

Strict Warning

The District Collector has issued a strict warning to officials not to allow children to attend school or anganwadi centers under any circumstances. All sub-divisional officers have been instructed to supervise and monitor the situation to ensure necessary action is taken.

No Leniency

The district administration has made it clear that no leniency will be shown in this matter and that it will be given top priority. Officials have been instructed to take immediate action to prevent any damage to buildings and to ensure the safety of children.

Officials Take Action

On Monday, officials inspected the condition of government buildings, school buildings, and anganwadi centers in the district. They took steps to drain water from building premises, removed water from roof tops, and filled soil in areas where soil erosion had occurred.
