On the initiative of the state’s Finance Minister and Raigarh MLA Shri O.P. Choudhary, the Urban Administration Department has approved Rs 3.14 crore for the construction of roads in Raigarh city. Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary had written a letter to the Urban Administration Minister Shri Arun Sao regarding the demand of the people’s representatives and the city dwellers of Raigarh, which has been approved.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai is determined for the development of the state. Under the leadership of the Chief Minister, quick decisions are being taken for development works in every area of the state, as a result of which the urban bodies of the state have received 5 awards at the national level. On the initiative of Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, the goal of all-round development of Raigarh city is being fulfilled with full commitment. Continuous work is being done towards strengthening the infrastructure in the city and improving basic facilities. On the instructions of Finance Minister Shri Choudhary, focus has been laid on the construction of asphalt roads in the city, so that people get beautiful and smooth roads for movement within the city. Along with this, along with providing basic facilities in Raigarh, infrastructure development is also being rapidly materialized in the field of education and sports. So that facilities can be developed soon in the city according to the needs of all sections.
4 asphalt roads will be constructed with Rs 3.14 crore.
The roads for which approval has been given will be asphalt roads. This includes BT road from ward number 21 Circuit House to Housing Board at a cost of 1 crore 8 lakh 42 thousand, similarly Rs 83 lakh 51 thousand for BT road construction work from ward number 27 Atramuda to Mangal Bhawan, Rs 78 lakh 53 thousand for BT road construction work from ward number 32 Sarveshwari School to 25 MLD STP Plant and from Geeta Traders to Banjhinpali and Rs 44 lakh 12 thousand for BT road repairing work in ward number 17 from Handi Chowk via orphanage to Nilanchal Bhawan and via Ganesh temple to bus stand.
