Special Train Flagged Off from Chhattisgarh for Devotees Visiting Ram Lalla in Ayodhya
Raipur, Aug 2025 : Under the “Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana” of the Chhattisgarh Government, a special train carrying devotees departed today from Ambikapur Railway Station for Ayodhya. Minister for Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Smt. Laxmi Rajwade, flagged off the train and extended her best wishes to all devotees.

Smt. Rajwade said that the scheme has been launched with the aim of providing citizens an opportunity to visit religious and cultural sites, thereby promoting both faith and cultural heritage.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Housing Board Shri Anurag Singh Deo, Sitapur MLA Shri Prabodh Minj, Lundra MLA Smt. Uddeshwari Paikra, Ambikapur Mayor Smt. Manjusha Bhagat, Shri Bharat Sisodia, along with several other public representatives, were present.
The atmosphere at the railway station was filled with enthusiasm, as chants of “Jai Shri Ram” echoed all around. Smt. Rajwade informed that under the Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana, devotees are being provided free train travel, food, and accommodation facilities.
She added that visiting the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya is a matter of fortune for every devotee. The state government also plans to organize similar pilgrimages to other religious sites in the future.
During the journey, special arrangements have been made for the safety, health, and meals of the devotees. Administrative and police officials were also present at the railway station to ensure smooth arrangements.
