CM Vishnudev Sai Invites ModernTech Corp. and UNECORAIL to Invest and Collaborate in Chhattisgarh During South Korea Visit

EV Charging Manufacturing, Railway Infrastructure, and Technology Transfer to Accelerate State’s Clean Energy and Logistics Capabilities

Raipur, Aug 2025 : During his visit to South Korea, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai invited ModernTech Corp., a leading green mobility solutions company, and UNECORAIL, South Korea’s premier rail maintenance solutions provider, to invest and collaborate in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister emphasized that the state government’s priority is to promote clean energy, build sustainable transport infrastructure, and strengthen the railway network. He expressed confidence that partnerships with these companies would accelerate Chhattisgarh’s clean energy journey and logistics backbone.

The Chief Minister proposed that ModernTech Corp. set up an advanced EV charging manufacturing unit in the state. He said this project would give Chhattisgarh a new identity in the field of clean energy and sustainable transport infrastructure.

Highlighting the alignment of the state’s Industrial Policy 2024–30 with green energy promotion and carbon reduction goals, the CM stated:

“The establishment of an EV charging manufacturing unit in Chhattisgarh will not only boost clean energy targets but also provide citizens with improved and modern transport infrastructure. This initiative will be a major step towards gifting future generations a clean environment.”

He further underlined that the investment would create large-scale employment opportunities for local youth, develop green technology skills, and accelerate the growth of sustainable transport networks across rural and urban areas. He expressed confidence that ModernTech Corp.’s experience and expertise would fast-track Chhattisgarh’s energy transition journey.

Officials present at the event informed that the proposed project would generate thousands of direct and indirect jobs while encouraging the establishment of component manufacturing units locally. This would position Chhattisgarh as an emerging national hub in the green energy sector.

Assuring ModernTech Corp. representatives of full support, the Chief Minister said:

“Processes have been made simple and transparent so that investors can implement their projects quickly and without any obstacles.”

During his South Korea visit, CM Sai also met Mr. Dong Pil Park, CEO of UNECORAIL. Discussions centered on collaboration in local manufacturing, technology transfer, and railway infrastructure development.

The Chief Minister stressed that considering the state’s rapidly growing industrial and logistics needs, adopting advanced railway solutions is essential. He expressed confidence that UNECORAIL’s expertise would strengthen Chhattisgarh’s railway network, improve maintenance, and reinforce the logistics backbone. This would not only boost industrial activity but also provide the general public with safe and efficient transport services.

Concluding his visit, CM Sai reaffirmed that the government is making clean energy and sustainable development central to policy planning, keeping in mind the aspirations of the people of Chhattisgarh. He urged global investors to become partners in the state’s development journey and help take Chhattisgarh to new heights.
