Deadline Extended till September 10 for Submitting Entries to State Drama Competition – Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar
Mumbai, Aug 2025 : The Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Government of Maharashtra, has extended the deadline for submitting entries for the State Drama Competition until September 10, 2025.
Earlier, the last date for submitting entries under various categories of the competition was August 31. However, owing to Ganeshotsav celebrations, monsoon conditions, and other issues, several drama institutions and organizations had requested an extension. Considering these appeals, Cultural Affairs Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar directed the Directorate to extend the deadline, so that a maximum number of groups can participate in the competition.
Announcing this, Directorate of Cultural Affairs Director Vibhishan Chavare informed that the deadline has officially been extended till September 10, 2025.
As per the revised schedule, interested drama groups can submit their entries online until September 10, 2025. Applications must be made through the official website: https://mahanatyaspardha.com, the Directorate said in its press release.
