CM Yogi grants little Mayra admission after sweet morning meeting

Lucknow, Sept 2025 : On Monday, during the ‘Janata Darshan’, a heartwarming glimpse of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s affection for children was seen. Little Mayra from Kanpur had arrived with her mother, Neha, to seek admission in school. The Chief Minister greeted her with a smile, lovingly offered her chocolates, and asked what she wanted to become when she grew up. Mayra innocently replied, “Doctor.” Deeply moved, the Chief Minister immediately instructed officials to ensure her admission.

Acting on his directions, Escorts World School, Kanpur, promptly began Mayra’s admission process the same evening. Principal Sudhir Tiwari informed the BSA and government officials about the formal initiation of her admission. Witnessing the Chief Minister’s simplicity and warmth, Mayra’s family was left deeply impressed. Her mother expressed gratitude, saying that the Chief Minister patiently listened to their concern and assured them of her daughter’s admission.

This was not the first instance of the Chief Minister extending such kindness. Earlier in June, Vachi from Moradabad had appealed to him for admission during a ‘Janata Darshan’. Within three hours of her plea, she was enrolled in a reputed school under the RTE Act. Similarly, in July, Gorakhpur’s Pankhuri Tripathi sought a fee waiver due to financial hardship. The Chief Minister assured her that her education would not be interrupted, after which her school waived her fees. Today, both girls are pursuing their studies smoothly in prestigious schools in their respective cities.
