Jaipur Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni Inspects Rain-Affected Areas; District Administration on Alert Mode
Jaipur, Sept 2025 : To deal with rain-induced situations, the Jaipur district administration is on high alert, with all necessary arrangements in place for immediate action during emergencies. Taking charge on the ground, District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni personally inspected rain-affected areas on Tuesday, including Kotkhawda, Bassi, and Tunga, to assess the situation and review relief measures.
During the visit, Dr. Soni interacted with local residents, listened to their concerns, and instructed officials to ensure prompt relief. Stressing that public safety is the top priority, he directed special vigilance in waterlogged areas, submerged regions, and low-lying zones.
Dr. Soni issued strict instructions to officials, warning that no negligence would be tolerated and that rescue and relief operations must be carried out on priority. Following his orders, more than 40 administrative teams have been deployed across the field. Sub-divisional officers, tehsildars, development officers, and other departmental officials inspected ground conditions and took immediate action, including drainage management and other essential arrangements.
The Collector is closely reviewing relief and rescue operations across the district to ensure people face no hardship. He directed that all essential resources, food supplies, and medical services be made available in affected areas. Additional safety measures are being implemented at waterlogged spots, and strict monitoring is being carried out to regulate movement.
Appealing to the public, Dr. Soni urged residents to remain extra cautious in waterlogged and rain-affected areas. He advised against crossing flooded roads, culverts, or bridges, and warned parents not to let children go near waterlogged sites or drains. Citizens have been asked to stay away from water sources and immediately report any issues to the district control room or local administration for timely assistance.
