Sikar District In-Charge Minister Reviews Damage from Heavy Rains, Orders Immediate Relief – Moved by Farmers’ Crop Loss

Jaipur, Sept 2025 : Forest and Environment Minister and Sikar District In-Charge, Mr. Sanjay Sharma, visited the Khandela region of Sikar district on Sunday to review the crop damage caused by excessive rainfall. He instructed departmental officials to expedite relief and rescue operations in the affected areas.

Minister Sharma assessed the losses to houses, crops, and livestock due to the heavy rains and directed officials to take necessary steps to provide immediate assistance to the affected families. He assured that the state government is committed not only to providing immediate relief but also to finding long-term solutions to problems caused by heavy rains and flooding. He emphasized that the government is working effectively to resolve the hardships faced by the common people.

The minister also instructed officials to conduct an early girdawari (crop damage survey) and submit the report quickly. Compensation will be provided to farmers after assessing the extent of crop loss in the district.

During the visit, Khandela MLA Subhash Meel, Dhod MLA Govardhan Verma, along with district-level officials and public representatives, were present.
