Chief Minister Reviews Proposed Plan For New Neihloh Village

Aizawl, Sept 2025: The Chief Minister’s Office, Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma, along with key officials and leaders of Neihloh village, reviewed the proposed plan for the new Neihloh village.

The present Neihloh settlement is vulnerable to natural disasters, and in recent years the villagers have suffered greatly due to such calamities. Because of this, the community has expressed a strong desire to relocate to a safer area. Funds received from the Government for development activities are also being set aside for the purpose of establishing the new settlement.

Under the leadership of the local MLA and with the guidance of the Chief Minister, the Town & Country Planning Department along with the UD & PA Department prepared the proposed relocation plan, which was formally reviewed today.

Pu Lalhruaitluanga Ralte, Assistant Director of Town & Country Planning, presented the plan, which includes 108 residential houses and provisions for essential government facilities. He explained that once a suitable and safe location is finalized, the implementation of the relocation will begin.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by Pu Vanlaldina Fanai, Commissioner & Secretary to the CM, senior officials from the UD & PA Department, and leaders of the Neihloh community.
