Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Rajwade Holds Departmental Review Meeting in Ambikapur

Raipur, Sept 2025 : Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Lakshmi Rajwade chaired a departmental review meeting today at the Circuit House in Ambikapur during her visit to the Surguja Division.

In the meeting, she conducted a detailed review of the progress of various schemes and programs related to the Women and Child Development Department and the Social Welfare Department.

Smt. Rajwade directed officials to ensure that the benefits of departmental schemes reach eligible beneficiaries on time. She made it clear that any negligence in the implementation of these schemes would not be tolerated.

During the review, she also emphasized the functioning of children’s homes, anganwadi centers, special schools, and welfare institutions, instructing officials to maintain transparency and accountability in all operations.

On this occasion, departmental officers, district administration officials, and public representatives were present.
