CS Stresses Investor Follow-Ups to Fast-Track MoU Implementation
Jaipur, Sept 2025 : Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant chaired a review meeting on monday to expediate MoUs signed during the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024.
During the meeting, Shri Pant reviewed the updates presented by the department officials across key sectors, highlighting the targets achieved, and appreciating the department officials for achieving their GBC targets.
Shri Pant also directed the department officials to prioritize making a smooth implementation process and work in close coordination with the investors in order to ensure timely implementation of projects.
Emphasizing on the importance of follow – up meetings, Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant said, “Regular meetings, follow-ups with the investors, and maintaining a transparent process will ensure rapid MoU implementation and help streamline the process”.
The Chief Secretary further stated that the introduction of new UDH Policy may help to expedite land allotment for MoU implementation, ensuring a rapid commencement of groundbreaking.
In addition to this, Shri Pant further directed the officials to apprise the investors about RIICO’s Direct Land Allotment Scheme. The scheme offers industrial plots at reserved price to investors who have signed MoUs with the state under “Rising Rajasthan” before 27th August 2025. Up till the fourth phase of Direct Land Allotment scheme and e-auction, more than 1200 plots have been allotted.
The fifth phase of RIICOs Direct Land Allotment Scheme commenced on 12th September 2025 and offers more than 6,000 industrial plots to investors in various new and existing industrial areas developed by RIICO.
It is worth noting that during the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, MoUs of worth INR 35 lakh crore were exchanged. In nine months after the investment summit, MoUs more than worth INR 5 lakh crore have already commenced groundbreaking showcasing the Government of Rajasthan’s dedication to swiftly implement the signed MoUs. The government is strengthening its partnership with the industries by swiftly giving approvals and expediting the entire process of MoU implementation, enhancing transparency and accountability.
Apart from Shri Pant, the meeting was attended by Shri Rajesh Yadav, Principal Secretary, Tourism, Smt. Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary, Medical & Health, Shri Niraj K Kumar, Secretary, Sports, Dr. Samit Sharma, Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Gopalan, Dr. Joga Ram, Principal Secretary Industries (Additional), Shri Rohit Gupta, CMD RREC, Shri Rajan Vishal, Secretary, Agriculture, Shri V. Saravana Kumar, Secretary, Science and Technology, Smt Archana Singh, Secretary, Information and Technology, Shri Suresh Kumar Ola, Commissioner, Bureau of Investment Promotion (BIP), and other senior officials of Government of Rajasthan.
