CM Yogi condoles Shreya’s death on X.
Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over the death of a girl from Ambedkar Nagar in a tragic accident due to the flooding of the basement of a coaching center in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. Shreya, who enrolled in the coaching center about a month ago, was one of the three students who lost their lives in the mishap.
CM Yogi expressed his grief over the incident on the social media platform X and directed the administration to assist the victim’s family. Following this, the Ambedkar Nagar District Magistrate, SP, ADM FR, and SDM visited the student’s home to offer condolences and discuss assistance. The family was advised to contact the district administration if they needed any support.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his condolences on X, stating, “The death of students in an unfortunate accident at a coaching center in Delhi is extremely sad and heartbreaking. My condolences are with the bereaved families.”
He mentioned his intention to meet the family of the student from Ambedkar Nagar district who tragically lost her life and directed officials to coordinate with Delhi authorities to provide every possible assistance. CM Yogi concluded his message by praying to Lord Shri Ram to grant salvation to the departed souls.
Relief Commissioner GS Naveen stated that CM Yogi directed the district administration to visit the home of Shreya Yadav, a student from Hashimpur Barsawan village in Ambedkar Nagar, who lost her life in the coaching center incident in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi.
Subsequently, Ambedkar Nagar District Magistrate Avinash Singh, Superintendent of Police Dr. Kaustubh, ADM FR Sadanand Gupta, and SDM Saurabh Shukla visited the home of Shreya Yadav. There, they met with her father Rajendra Yadav, her mother, her two brothers, and other family members, offering their condolences. The district administration assured the family of all possible assistance.
According to DM Avinash Singh, Shreya’s father, Rajendra Yadav, mentioned that his younger brother, Dharmendra Yadav, resides in Delhi and was the local guardian of the student. ADM FR Sadanand Gupta then spoke with Dharmendra Yadav, who informed him that the post-mortem had not yet been conducted.
Following this, ADM FR contacted the Rajendra Nagar inspector to request an immediate post-mortem, which was subsequently performed at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi.
Meanwhile, Ministers Girish Chandra Yadav and Satish Sharma also visited the student’s home. District administration officials confirmed that Shreya’s body is being transported from Delhi to Ambedkar Nagar.
