Mumbai, Sept 2025 : Superstar Rajinikanth on Wednesday extended warm birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who turned 75, wishing him a long and healthy life to continue guiding the nation.

The veteran actor took to X (formerly Twitter) to pen a heartfelt note for the Prime Minister. “To the most respected, honourable, and my dear Prime Minister @narendramodi Narendra Modi ji, heartfelt wishes on your birthday. Wishing you long life, good health, peace of mind, and everlasting strength to lead our beloved nation. Jai Hind,” Rajinikanth wrote.

The message quickly gained traction, with fans and followers praising both Rajinikanth’s words and the Prime Minister’s milestone birthday.

Rajinikanth’s Recent and Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, Rajinikanth was recently seen in Coolie, a Tamil-language action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film features an ensemble cast including Nagarjuna Akkineni, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Rachita Ram, along with special appearances by Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde.

The movie follows the journey of a former coolie union leader investigating the mysterious death of his friend, which draws him into the underworld of crime syndicates. The film was praised for its gripping narrative and Rajinikanth’s commanding screen presence.

The superstar is now gearing up for Jailer 2, an action-comedy directed by Nelson and a sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer. Rajinikanth will reprise his role as the titular character, joined by Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Mirnaa, who will return to their roles. Actor S. J. Suryah joins the cast, while Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Nandamuri Balakrishna are set to make cameo appearances.

Prime Minister Modi’s Birthday Schedule

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi marked his 75th birthday with a packed schedule. He is visiting Bhainsola village in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, to lay the foundation stone for India’s first PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park. This initiative aims to strengthen the textile industry in the state and is part of seven textile hubs planned across the country under the PM MITRA scheme.

In addition, the Prime Minister will launch two key national initiatives — ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’ (Healthy Women, Empowered Families) and the eighth Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month). Both programmes focus on improving health and nutrition services, particularly for women, children, and adolescents, underscoring Modi’s commitment to inclusive development.
